From the novel Speak, the English teacher was referred to as Hair Woman. My good friend and fellow teacher Holly gave me this for Christmas. She also ordered one for herself so that we can match when we teach that part of the book. While neither of us resemble the character, it is a fun inside joke. Hair Woman is in love with Nathaniel Hawthorne, and the back of the shirt reads "Hawthorne Rules." Simply amazing!
One of my angels gave me these Red Sox items. I wore the hat quite a bit today even though I am not a fan of hats. I absolutely love both of these gifts! I have such thoughtful students. <3
